Unpacking the pain and fear
The other day I was listening to a speaker who was talking about pain. Well I thought yeah-yeah… I don’t have all that much pain in my life . – Thank God ! –

There are people out there suffering in deathly illness, some people are unhappy because their spouse betrayed them, their children are dying. What can I complain about?

My parents are together in a strong and good marriage, my husband is the most amazing guy I could ever ask for and  we have two beautiful children! I felt guilty to feel any pain when I look at others and see how much they suffered. For this very reason, I never wanted to face fear or pain because I’m supposed to be strong, my life is not falling apart so therefore I should not complain just be thankful for what I have!

But you know what ? Life isn’t perfect and that’s a lie to think my pain in my life doesn’t worth to be talked about. It does !

Everyone of us is struggling with something,no such a thing as perfection! I struggle with anxiety and self doubt and I put everything that’s hurtful in a box and put it on this ” shelf ” , hoping I will never have to deal with it again.Just keep it hidden away from everyone.

Can you relate?

It is so much easier just to pretend it’s not there anymore. Except when I start crying for no reason because the box has been put up there for way too long !…

How can we unpack that box? How can we take everything out and except it ?

That’s just it !…Can we just take our time and just let that pain saturated in? Can we just become that pain and let it work through in us ?I believe God allows us pain and suffering so we can find him and gain strength in the midst of all. It is that journey that will take us to the next level to be able to move on.Listen ,  it is absolutely necessary just to let us be in that pain and understand our emotions and just let it be. How can we look forward to heal if we do not unpack the box?
Unpacking :

1; Don’t be scared to face fear !

2; Pray to God to show you the deep rooted feelings that has been buried for a while .

3; Let the pain enter your heart and soul .

( The reason why our society overly use medication is because we want an instant way out to numb the pain.)

4; Let the pain unite with your soul !

5; Now that you are aware of this, healing can begin!

Ask Jesus to start repairing the broken pieces and believe in a new day because through him everything is possible !

He gives us HOPE in our darkest time.

Suggestion:
Journal through this process, it is amazing what we can write down that we would never say out loud ! Let the pen flow, let God fill up those empty places in your heart !

Psalm 147:3
“He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds”

James 5:16
“Confess your trespasses to one another and pray for one another that you may be healed .The effective fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.”

2 Chronicles 7:14
” if my people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways ,then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land . ”
