Have you ever felt like you are not moving
forward? Are you keep trying to walk the
“walk”, but something is missing? Do you feel
like something or someone is holding you
back? Oh my Goodness, I remember when I
was there and I was just going in circles and I
just couldn’t get out of this crazy roller coaster.
It made me feel truly miserable! I couldn’t
explain what was wrong, but I knew
something was not ok. There was something
holding me back and kept me away from
growing in my faith. The root of it all was the
unresolved pain in my heart.
Through our lifetime we all experience hurt,
pain, fear …etc . Question is how can we
overcome these things and begin the process of
healing. The truth is if we give all of these
difficulties to God we will have a 100% success
rate, but on our own we will be miserable. We
won’t be able to grow in our relationship with
Christ. Let me show you a few steps that will
help you overcome any struggles you may have
in your life right now.
1; Examine your life. What could be a reason
you are stuck where you are? Could it be anger
that you are holding against someone that you
had an issue with? Unresolved pain?
The word anger means : ” Anger or wreath is
an intense emotional response. It is an emotion
that involves a strong uncomfortable and
emotional response to a perceived provocation,
hurt or threat . ” – (Wikipedia)
When we feel threatened or manipulated by
others we shot down and try to protect
ourselves. Anger takes over our heart, and
depending on how we react will be the key.
The Bible talks about righteous anger in
Eph 4:26-27
” Be angry, and yet do not sin; Do not let the sun go down on your anger, And do not give the devil an opportunity. ”
Godly anger is an expression of the anger
that is consistent with the character of God,
holy and righteous. Our anger should not be
explosive but slow (Exodus 34:6). Also we
should not be revengeful at this time. Our
heart has to stay in it’s corse with the creator
and focus on the right reaction. We should not
leave unresolved issues, because it will become
infectious and take over our mind.
The mountains of trials that comes our way
will teach us a whole lot about ourselves. As a
mom lot of times I have to catch myself and
think about my actions and ask the question.
“Did this worth to get so mad about?” I’m sure
some of you moms can sympathize!
Stressful situations will oppress into our life,
when we just want to blow up and say hurtful
things to our kids, our spouse, friend or family
members. But how can we show the light if we
do not practice righteous anger. Godly anger is
always under control, rather than anger taking
control over us. It’s important to keep align
with our creator and not let our anger to
turn into bitterness, hatred and revenge.
2; We need to make sure we forgive others
their wrongdoings, because without this we
will be unable to move forward. Bitterness and
hatred tunes out the voice of God. Sin will take
over and we are no longer able to make
rational decisions. Focus on the Father and
don’t let darkness take over your emotions. So
settle your differences and pray for each other.
Eph 4:31-32
31 Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. 32 Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
James 5:16
16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
Once we go through on the process of forgiving
others, all the weight will be lifted off of our
shoulders. We know we are in the will of God
and our perspective will change forever.
That’s where the healing begins and our soul
and spirit will be tuned to start some awesome
work in the kingdom of God, with a brand new
attitude!
I pray you can settle your heart and begin to
heal, because I am here to tell you God wants
you to take the next step toward Him.
Don’t waist anymore time, you can do this!
